The Felice Bros. & XPN

WXPN is one of the more influential stations of it’s genre in the country. Their facilities and outreach in the community here in Philly go well beyond that of a typical station. They have 2 live music venues in the same complex as their station which look and sound great. One of the extremely cool things they do is a free concert every friday in their main room which is also simulcast on the radio. Today the Felice Bros. were down there. I listened to the show, parked in my car outside my house, wishing I was there. They’re fantastic. Sounds like they’ve stirring the same gumbo as The Band.
